Michael Rivera

Michael Rivera has taught English as a Foreign Language since 2018 and has lived and worked in Taiwan for the Ministry of Education and the British Council, in Benin as a Princeton in Africa Fellow, and in Côte d’Ivoire as a Fulbright Teaching Assistant. He is starting an MA in Second Language Studies at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa to research sociolinguistics and language revitalization efforts in the Philippines and other multilingual regions. In addition to his passion for language learning and teaching, he is a lifelong musician and writer.
